ROSTER CHANGE THREAD POST RULES
ESPN WW CLAIMS WILL GO LIVE THE 1ST OR 2ND SAT AFTER ESPN IS BACK LIVE. DATE/TIME/INITIAL DAY GO LIVE RULES WILL FOLLOW WHEN THAT DATE INFO. IS KNOWN.
1. All Roster changes must be posted to the thread for the following reasons: 2. You adjust DLs on ESPN(You do not need to tell us at all, you control your DLs, just adjust ESPN and you are good to go) 3. You adjust prospects by calling them up or dropping them down, or just dropping them. You must include first and last name (properly spelled) age and what MLB team he plays for. 4. You drop a player from your active roster to ESPN WW 5. You do an ESPN waver wire add. (for adds you must include name, ESPN positions eligible for and salary and you must also tell us if the player was on our dropped players list)
ESPN WW CLAIMS AT GO LIVE TIME
Claims go live the 1st or 2nd Sat after ESPN is back live at 8 pm est. Here are the rules as the first 5 min will be intense and it is 1st come 1st served if done legally. 1 You have to check both lgs. to be sure the guy is available 2 You have to check our prospect list also to be sure he is available 3 You add the guy on ESPN first 4 You then post the add on our roster changes thread 5 First and last name, positions eligible for per ESPN, and salary must all be included, an illegal post means you lose rights to the guy. 6 If teams from both lgs add the same guy, the 1st add time on ESPN wins the guy, if they are the same, then the 1st legal roster changes add time wins the guy. If that is tied then the core LMs will vote on who gets the guy. We will go by post times and not 1st posted.
1a you can only add players who are on a 25 man roster, in the pre-season that means teams projected 25 man depth chart per ESPN 2a any player on the dropped players list is fair game

ESPN RULES
Once ESPN goes live we have set up 3 differect lgs. Both an AL and NL espn lg. plus a WS site. All lgs. will operate seperately during the year and the playoffs until we go to our WS site.
At a date and time to be decided (1st or 2nd sat after ESPN goes live) we will open ESPN WW claims. We will still be using Proboards as our home site. All master rosters/salaries and all trading will still have to take place there. There are several rules that MUST be followed when doing any ESPN roster adjustments.
1. If you only adjust your daily line ups with no adds/drops and do DL moves you are good to go and do not need to report those changes to us. 2. All trading must still be done via the pro boards site. Inter Lg. trading is allowed. 3. All teams may add ESPN WW players from either lg. All teams must check and make sure that the player being added is available to pick up in both lgs. You do the add on ESPN yourself. 4. you must also check to be sure the player is not listed on our lg. prospects list. 5. you can only add players on a 25 MLB roster or MLB FAs not yet signed. All other players rights are owned unless they are not listed under rule 4. Again, the player has to be on a MLB 25 man roster or you can not add him. (he must be listed on ESPN as on the MLBs 25 man roster B4 the add is legal) 6. All teams are limited to 5 adds a week. (Mon.-Sun.) 7. All adds/drops must be reported on our new site (ROSTER CHANGES) by midnight pst. of the day the changes were made. You must do the research for the player costs and include that info as well as the correct 1st/last names and espn positions they qualify for. 8. Failure to notify us of the add/drop will result in loss of scoring for that player until we are notified. 9. All teams must still remain within their cap limit at all times. Once a team is over his cap, you have 48 hrs to fix it or we will decide what player to remove to fix the issue. 10. Adding minor lg. players B4 the are on a 25 man MLB roster is illegal. We will remove the player from your team. 11. any player on our dropped players list can be added at anytime.

TRADE RULES
This is how it should be written out.
Team A Trades: PlayerA 2B Yankees $4
Team B Trades: PlayerB (prospect) 1B Red Sox $0.1 PlayerC (prospect) P Pirates $0.1
1 you can trade players from your active roster, your prospect roster, future rookie draft picks, and/or salary. 2 you must post all players names, espn positions eligibal for and salaries. This must be done for all players involved in the trade. 3 winning FAs can not be traded for cash only, there must be a player being sent from the other team. 4 trading cash means you lose/gain that cash forever. you DO NOT get it back next year. 5 you post the trade on the trade review thread. BOTH teams MUST accept the trade B4 it can be voted on. 6 we have 10 LMs who vote on the trades. It takes 6 approvals to clear a trade. If one or more of the LMs is involved in the trade, it takes 5 approvals. 7 after approval, the trade is moved to espn review where LMs adjust espn for the approved trade. 8 after espn is updated the trade is moved to Proboards review for proboards updating. 9 Any player posted in a trade can not be reposted in another trade until the 1st trade is moved to Proboards review. 10 If you post a trade and it involves a FA win player, you MUST post FA in the post after the players info so we know that info.

TRADE DEADLINE AND OUR WAVER WIRE TRADES
1 our trade deadline will be 2 weeks B4 the end of our reg. season. Date TBD 2 trades via our waver claim 2 week period are allowed the next two weeks 3 once our playoffs start no trades will be allowed 4 espn WW adds are allowed 5 prospect call ups and demotions are allowed 6 Any player called up to the majors starting Sept. 1st can ONLY be added by a team who has that player on their prospect roster. No other Sept. call up players can be added by any team. 7 no espn adds can be done once our WS ends 8 after our WS we will shut done for a month and no actions can take place except for drops.
WAVER WIRE TRADES
1. Any player on your roster may be put on the waiver wire for a period of 24hrs only, after that you must pull him back and he can never appear on waiver wire again this season. If you have a deal in the process it must be posted and acepted within that 24hr window, if not then it is dead. 2. You may put two players on waiver wire at same time if you choose. They must be seperate waiver wire additions, not the same. You can not exceed two players nor put more than two players on waiver wire at anytime. In other words no team may put more than two players total for the 2 weeks that the waiver wire process is open. Only 1 appearance on waiver wire by any player, you can not trade him and another team put him on. 3. You as the owner of wavied player have three options trade him, sell him or pull him back off waiver wire. The wavied player is the only player that can be traded off of your team, no one else or cash may be involved. 4. You as the buyer of the waived player may send cash or multi players to get said player you want. Once you acquire the waived player he is on your roster for the rest of the season and CAN NOT be traded till the next off-season. 5. Remember any player may only appear once on waiver wire, no matter what. Also you can not trade a waived player once you acquire him. All deals involving these players will be voted on by LM's but only need 3 votes to pass due to time constraints. All deals must be posted and accepted by both teams within the 24 hr window or deal is dead. This gives teams 2 more weeks to do limited trades. We will set up a waver wire thread where players can be posted, you can deal with any team that replys, but it is 24 hrs from your original post time to get it done and both teams to accept the trade. 6. Waver wire trades are open the last 2 weeks of the regular season. Exact dates and times TBD.

SALARY STRUCTURE 1 all teams started with a 150M cap to work with. 2 teams are allowed to trade cap cash in any deal. However if you trade sal. your cap goes up or down depending on the trade. If you trade away 5M your cap gets lowered 5M. If you get 5M in a trade your cap goes up 5M. Trade of cap cash is perminate and you do not get the $ back next year, and what your cap ends the year at is what you have for next year. 3 we us players salaries from the previous year. 4 we also use a conversion chart with those salaries to obtain your cap hit for players. The conversion chart is at the top of our proboards home page. 5 all teams must maintain a min 70M cap at all times. If you fall below 70M you have 48 hrs to correct it. Failure to do so will result in loss of scoring for your team until corrected. 6 caps are also adjusted down for fines, and for our playoff payouts. 7 all prospects cost 0.1M in salary per the chart in the prospect rules section above. If a winning FA is moved to your prospects roster because he is not signed, his sal is the winning FA cost. 8 mlbcontracts.blogspot.com/ is the official sal site we use. What that site says is what we use. For lst year players if no salary is listed it is $0.4. If a veterans sal is not listed on the site you are free to use any site as long as you can copy/paste that info if asked. 9. the pay outs for playoffs teams are listed below: make playoffs .5 1st round winners 1. semi winners 2. lg champ 3. ws runner up 2.5. ws winner 5. all sums add up. IE make the playoffs and win rd 1 you get 1.5 etc.

OTHER RULES: 1. The tie breaker for our WS: We will use cat wins/loses gained during our WS to determine the winner in the event of a tie. We have ranked all 12 cats 1 to 12. If a tie happens we go to cat # 1 and use that to name a winner. If that cat is tied we go to # 2 and so on until the tie is broken. Cats in order we will go by: RUNS-WINS-ERA-RBIS-OPS-KS-AVG-HRS-SBS-SVS-HDS-WHIP
2. Some teams are gonna not have enough cash/cap to cover the rise in their players sals. We have 1 already and might have more. By exec. board order, once we go live 8 days after the MLB WS ends if a team is short cash to cover their players sals they have 48 hrs. to correct the problem. If they have to drop a player to be legal then so be it, what ever it takes they have 48 hrs to fix it.
3. Going forward, if we lose an owner who had a playoff team THE PREVIOUS YEAR, that team will be offered to the lg. B4 I find a new owner. The core LMs will vote on who gets that team. Any lg. team can ask for the owner-less team. We will do this once and once only when this happens. If the team is awarded to a team from our lg. that also had a playoff team the previous year, the team he leaves will not be offered to the lg. but to an outside owner. Not gonna do this process over and over to replace 1 owner. It is a 1 time deal per team.
